Bzzzzy bee

I went to see the doctor in Phoenix on the 25th and when we came home we brought Jeremiah, age 4, and Jenna, age 3, with us.  My cousin Brian's kids.  They are adorable!  As you can guess, we've been pretty busy around here.

We got home from Phoenix pretty late last night and I got Jeremiah in his jammies and to bed, but he didn't get a refresher on where the potty is.  Very important for newly potty trained kids!  So, he woke up disoriented and eventually remembered where the bathroom was, but didn't quite make it to the potty.  *Shrugging shoulders*  It happens.

I got him cleaned up, fresh undies and a clean t-shirt to sleep in and back off to bed.  Good thing I'm a night owl because I was still up!  Afterwards I decided it was time for bed.  So, off to bed I went...tossing and turning for a good two to two and half hours before Jeremiah comes in and wants to snuggle up.  He looked like he was shivering and breathing fast from a bed dream.

Needless to say, our king-sized bed sleeps 2 adults, 2 dogs, 1 child and several cats just fine!  lol!

And to make things more interesting, we are doing respite care for a 2 year of girl, K, and a 3 year old boy, J.  We picked them up from daycare today.  So, instead of two kids...we now have four!

Mom was a little worried, but these guys are really sweet kids.  They actually asked for seconds and thirds at dinner and kept telling me how good it was.  I made spaghetti with hamburger in it with whole wheat rotini for the family and I had whole wheat rotini with pesto sauce.  J even tried some rotini with pesto sauce and loved it.  I was shocked.  These kids love food...and they are so good and respectful.

They are going home soon too.  What angels to start out with!  Today has been a good day.

    1. I couldn't believe I had that many littles at once! I had the ages wrong. It turned out that I actually had two two year olds, a three year old, and a four year old. Can you imagine?

The four year old got a little frustrated because the babies didn't share very well, but everyone had a great time and wanted to come back to visit again sometime. That is always a plus.
