Today is just weird

My co-teacher was out today so I taught with the gal who teaches the five year old. 

We ended up trading off parts to teach, which worked well, but she is definitely a better teacher for young kids than I am.

I kinda keep hoping they will decide to release me, but it hasn't happened yet. 

As I was teaching, I realized my word choice wasn't age appropriate. Then again, it is appropriate for my kids, but they live with me.

I finished my pineapple shopping bag.

Today I learned we are moving. Yeah, it was a shock to me because we aren't. Well, I guess I set that straight. 

No clue where the idea came from, but whatever, right?

I'm definitely not a gossip so I never hear the stuff people put out there anyway.

My right ear is painful and has been for days. Hopefully it will hurry up and heal.

The allergist didn't say anything about it when he examined me, but maybe I should've asked.

Hopefully I won't need allergy shots this time around.

The allergist made sure I have both an epipen and a rescue inhaler. He also put me on Breo and Xhance. They seem to be helping so I'll take them.

I guess my asthma is active or maybe it is more that my normal oxygen intake is a lot lower than my O2 sats say.

The finger machine says it is 96%. The actual breathing test goes from 50something to low 80's.

Considering all anyone ever looked at was my O2 sat, it makes sense that it hadn't been previously discovered.

Hopefully this treatment with twice daily Zyrtec and singulair will make it where I no longer need allergy shots. They really are a pain.

I am making carnitas for dinner tonight in the crockpot.

Today has me wishing I were more ordinary so I'd at least fit in. I know I never will, but I feel so awkward.

Oh well. I guess that's just part of life, right? Someday I'll arrive in my happy place.

I guess I should work on my app for the U.

I really wish I could find my old student number. I know I have a copy of my transcript here somewhere, but where?

Well, I'll figure it out one way or another I'm sure.
