The dress was free. The shirt was $5.00.
Trust me, it is a whole lot cuter on than on the hanger!
So, you are probably wondering a little bit about the t-shirt, other than the modesty part of it all...
Um, yeah...will you check out that back!
Wow! Baby got back! Fooooooooor sure!
Somehow, I think the t-shirt will definitely be staying on!! ;o)
It is adorable on and we had a good time taking her babies shopping with us. There was this cute older, Asian Indian gentleman sitting in a chair waiting while his daughter tried on business suits who kept giving his input every time I came out of the dressing room with a new dress on. He told me I looked good in everything! :o) That made me smile.
I have to admit that I really think they need to standardize women's clothing because I tried on one size small that I seriously thought I was never going to get out of. It had a knit top and there was no zipper in it...and let's just face it, I may be a size 4 but I'm not exactly small. I got it on and immediately could not breathe. I started to panic when I realized that I didn't think I could get it back off. Yikes!!!
Instead of panicking and calling Skye for help, I calmed myself down, took a deep breath, and realized that if I got it on...it was going to come off. Thankfully it did...and in one piece too. I was very proud of myself.
Miss Asami was looking really cute while I was taking pics of the dress with my cell phone.
She is such a pretty girl! And spoiled rotten to boot. We just adore her.
I still haven't picked names for the betta yet. Hmmm...
He's a pretty fish, but Matt is going to have to pick the name for me.
Right now the contenders are:
- Kaimana
- Bubbles
- Nemo
- Cleo
- Monstro
- Buster
- Nebulous
- Charlie
- Simba
- Beaumont
And just for the record, it never occurred to me that I needed to name this fish...although my previous bettas were Jacques and Pierre...so, maybe that is why Beaumont appealed to me so much. For some reason I was shocked when someone asked what his name was. Strange? I guess so, since I used to name my bettas but very few of my other fish. With the exception of Jack the Blue Gourami who thought he was a Jack Dempsey Cichlid! lol! He actually even favored the look of a Jack Dempsey Cichlid.
Little did I know Jack was septic with red algae. I guess that was why he was so mean, but he wasn't unhealthy in my tank was the weird thing...after I treated the tank. It wasn't until I gave him to my niece that he became symptomatic again. Her tank filled with red algae slime and she couldn't get rid of it until she took Jack out. You would never think a fish could be septic with protozoans. So strange. Apparently I still can't get rid of the spores from that red algae, but that tank is history and as soon as the new tank is ready I will be putting fish in it.
I guess that's it for me. Sweet dreams.
