I forgot to mention this...

but the fish does have a name.  His name is Beaumont.

Beaumont, the Betta
I forgot to announce this to everyone.  When Andrea Morton-Hodges suggested Beaumont, it just had a certain je ne sais quoi to it...until I realized that my previous bettas were Jacques and Pierre.  Je ne sais quoi...not anymore!  So, meet Beaumont.

He is a pretty happy fish who spends all day swimming next to my laptop.  I hooked up a desk lamp and angled it so he get plenty of light and his "tank" get heated as well.  One of these days I need to get him a proper tank.  I should tell you what happened to my last betta tanks...or should I?!  >_<

Let's just say the cats did not even try to catch the bettas...and the bettas were not afraid of the cats at all!  But eventually I decided it wasn't such a good idea to let the cats drink out of the betta bowls...just because I couldn't stop them from doing it, so I moved the bettas to other quarters and made the betta vases cat water bowls instead.  Problem solved!  Well, sort of...until...well, that's another story for another day!!  Moving on, shall we now!!  I do think so!

The tree is almost completely decorated now...and I have some pics of the progress, but phone phone is dead...so, I guess I will save them for another day.  In the interim, here is a cute one of Miss Jenna.  She loved my pink Sony Cybershot so I showed her how it worked by taking her picture...

"Oh, really!!?"
I love her expression!  Seriously!  Intelligent eyes.  There is a wonderful mixture of curiosity, amusement and cynicism written all over her young face...I just can't help but love it!  And yes, I took her picture...dirty face and all!  She's only three and kids love to get messy when they play!  I know I did.

What was even more fun was to see the shots she took with my camera.  Check this out!

I didn't help her at all with any of these.  She took them all by herself.  I was very surprised when I uploaded all the pics just a while ago and found these on there.  Not too bad for a three year old.  In fact, quite good! I'm impressed.  She also took quite a few video, but they are all very short.  Cute kiddo!

Well, I guess that's it for me.  Good night!
