I have gone from single to married to a family of three. We eventually settled to a family of four and then we started caring for my nephew.
Life has certainly moved forward as we continue our journey as a family.
We moved Arizona to Utah. We sold our Arizona home.
We currently live in a rental house which is nice, but crowded.
Savannah, Tico, Sandy, and Sammy have all passed away. Uncle Leon passed as well.
Mom came to live with us for a while, but I am glad she lives with Aunt Louise now. We ended up in all kinds of arguments because she enables my brother too much.
Oreo, Sasha, Asami, Diana, Origami, Mercury, S'mores, and Tigey are all still with us.
Considering only one of those is a dog, I definitely already have my crazy cat lady starter pack!
Oreo is quite old. Fifteen to be exact.
She can't eat regular dog food and hates the stuff in the can most days, so I make her dog food from scratch.
It is usually a combination of brown rice, peas, carrots, green beans, pumpkin puree, and whatever ground meat source I have access to.
I've added ground turkey, ground pork, turkey chunks, shredded chicken - you name it!
She loves her food so much!
Tori is 13! Can you believe it?!
Yes, she still has blue hair. Next she wants it blue with purple ends.
Danny is 7 and growing like a weed!
He actually grew half an inch in the past month!! Can you imagine?
Still just as handsome as ever!
Still struggling with the aftereffects of his trauma.
He'll get there. I know he will. I just have to remember he's still emotionally a 2 year old!
He asked to have Daddy take Tori and Jay out of town so we can go hiking!
Well. that's about it for now.
Jay just woke up from his nap.
