One of the floor drains in the basement has backed up at least an inch of water into the house.
Not sure why it took so long to get it serviced because we put in the work request back on the 31st.
The plumber says it is gray water so he said he would insist on a restoration company coming in to do the rest of the repairs.
This poor house has had so many plumbing issues since we have been here!
I need a new range in the kitchen too.
The old whirlpool just isn't cutting it anymore.
The electrician said it was time for it to go.
Maybe they will replace the oven too? Please?
It would be so nice to have something nicer in here...although the old yellow color would work for either an Italian kitchen or lemons.
I've seen where people have painted their fridge like the TARDIS and whatnot. That seems nice too, but not in a rental.
You know what would be fun? A TARDIS door which leads to something like I theater/movie room. Could you imagine?
Tomorrow is the day the vet is going to put Oreo down.
Poor girl! She let me know last night she was done. Unfortunately the vet has been very busy and the only reason we got in this quickly is because she had a cancellation.
Fifteen years is a nice long life for a dog her size, but saying goodbye is always hard.
Last night was so stressful that I've been trying to take it easy today.
I have a plan forming in my head on how to at least get documentation to support my request.
If I can at least get a statement from each provider stating that I was in their care during the time-frame in question, then maybe that will suffice?
I can't believe the insurance company doesn't even have the records anymore.
I wonder if Ogden Regional has my hospitalization and my pain clinic records. I still haven't checked with them.
I need to talk to the U's disability office and see what they would advise in this situation.
Today I just needed to not feel like I am banging my head against the concrete.
At least I applied to SLCC for now.
I am afraid that this won't be resolved in time for fall semester at this point.
I told Sarah that I wish we had a third adult in the home so I could actually get things accomplished.
We had a guest a while back who entertained kids while I worked and the difference was amazing.
The other part was that the kids were more willing to do what she asked than mom and dad...surprise, surprise! (Yes, I am dripping sarcasm at this point.)
I think we really need a nanny just so there is an extra set of hands around to help stabilize things.
Well, I guess this is about it for me.
Laters!
